Tutu Onesie
Supplies Needed:
Onesie (Embroider or Applique first if you plan to do so, it is easier to add the embroidery before the tulle is attached)
Tulle in whatever colors you wish to use
Thin Elastic
Optional: Bow or Ribbon for bow to add to the front
Instructions:
Fold the onesie in half (or wherever you'd like your elastic to be placed) and Iron.
You may also mark this line with fabric ink.
Place your elastic around the onesie and overlap each end so that it makes a circle, pin. Go ahead and pin the rest of the elastic as well, so that it follows the crease you made in the step above.
Next, sew a few stitches in the front center of the elastic, making sure to stitch where each end of the elastic overlaps.
Remember: You will have to be putting tulle through the elastic, so don't make your stitches to long, or else you will have 'gaps' in your tulle.

Once you have your center stitched in place, stitch the back center, and put a couple stitches into the elastic to hold it to each side seam as well.
Cut your tulle (if you have not already done so) so that it is in 6 inch strips by whatever length you need.
Tie your tulle onto your elastic, the same as you would when making a regular tutu.
Go all the way around, making sure to slide the pieces as close to the stitches you made as possible, so you won't have any big 'gaps'.
Make or add a bow and place on the front center or side of the tutu and you are Finished!
This is a very quick and easy project that brings geat results. This is also really cute even without the Applique and Embroidery.
